Content Creation and Hooks

1. Types of Content

  • Trend-based

    • Hop on trending sounds, effects, or formats (but adapt them to your product).

    • Example: “POV: You just discovered the one product that…”

  • Educational (Value-packed)

    • Quick tips, myths vs. facts, before/after demonstrations.

    • Example: “3 things you didn’t know about [product/industry].”

  • Storytelling (Authenticity wins)

    • Founder story, customer journey, day-in-the-life, emotional transformations.

    • Example: “I created this because I was tired of…”

2. Hook Formula (First 1–3 Seconds)

Use one of these in bold text overlay + voiceover:

  • Shocking Stat/Fact → “95% of people get this wrong…”

  • Relatable Pain Point → “If you struggle with [problem], watch this.”

  • Transformation/Promise → “This turned my mornings from chaos to calm.”

  • Contrarian Take → “Stop wasting money on [thing everyone buys].”

  • Fast Transition → Hard cut between messy scene → solved scene.

3. Transition Techniques

  • Snap fingers → scene changes.

  • Cover camera with hand → reveal product.

  • Outfit/room change → “before & after” effect.

  • Text-to-scene → show a bold statement then immediately cut to proof/demo.

4. Execution Plan

  1. Shoot 5–10 short-form videos:

    • 2x trend-based

    • 3x educational/value-packed

    • 2x storytelling

    • 3x transformation/before-after

  2. Edit with platform-native tools (TikTok/Instagram Reels) for max reach.

  3. Test 3–4 hook styles on the same video → see which one drives the best CTR/engagement.

  4. Double down on your top 1–2 performing formats (don’t reinvent every time).

5. Examples of Scripts

  • Trend-based:
“This sound is blowing up right now, but here’s how I used it to [product use case].”

  • Educational:
“3 mistakes everyone makes with [product] and how to fix them.”

  • Storytelling:
“I never thought I’d be the person to [problem/struggle]… until I created this.”

  • Transformation:
“POV: You go from [pain] → [solution] in 10 seconds.”
